Gluten-Free Resource Directory

Gluten Free Focus: theglutenfree.com

Here at TheGFRD, we often come across tremendous websites and individuals that are doing amazing things in the world of gluten free nutrition, dieting, and cooking!

Jan Withington, a former grade school teacher that grew up in the Philippines, started her blog theglutenfree.com in 2013 after her gluten sensitivity diagnosis.

Jan’s diet in the Philippines was mostly rice, fish and vegetables. Then, when she moved to the U.S. more than 20 years ago, she started eating bread, pasta and pizzas. It wasn’t too long after that her health declined. She had been to many doctors and specialists to pinpoint the problem and now she’s a happy camper! Her goal is to make delicious recipes for everybody to enjoy either you’re on a gluten free diet or not.

She’s definitely achieved her goal! There is a TON of great recipes on her site, as well as great resources for gluten free bakeries and other food items. Be sure to check her out and tell her we sent you!
